For sculpture class we had to buy/collect/manufacture 200 objects that were similar or the same and create a sculpture with them. We weren't allowed to use them to make a sculpture of something else- eg. no "Spanish galleons made out of matchsticks". Rather, we were supposed to explore the relationship of each object with all the others. I experimented with various ideas but it is not surprising that I settled on this one as I am a huge fan of both books and paper. No fresh sheets of paper were used, all the paper was recycled from many different sources including old letterheads, my sister's story drafts and one of my mum's gym membership notices. Installed in hisuikousei's house, thanks for letting me use your space.
