New Zealand

There's so much I want to say, could say, about this whole speedpainting thing and how I realised it's probably the most... true expression of myself that I have yet discovered.

But enough of midnight ramblings; let's stick to facts.

Which is to say that this piece was inspired by my memories of my trip to New Zealand in January this year. I made some really bad sketches of the lakes we visited, and was thinking of turning them into digital paintings with the help of photos... but that never happened. This speedpaint was born solely out of spontaneity, and my feelings and memories.

New Zealand is a beautiful place.

Can't remember how long it took, maybe 40 minutes, maybe 20, or somewhere inbetween.
